Call for papers

November 12, 2012

The call for papers for the conference concluding this AHRC network, entitled Challenging Memories: Silence and Empathy in Heritage Interpretation is now open and you can read it by just clicking ‘Conference’ above. The conference will take place at Buckfast Abbey in Devon, a unique setting as it’s still a Benedectine Monastery of Catholic monks, founded in 1018.  It now looks a bit like this.

The conference builds on the work of the Challenging History initiative, in particular our conference earlier in the year at City University and the Tower of London.  EU delegates (though not UK) will be able to apply through the Grundtvig programme.
